8.1.5 to 8.1.7

A (non-technical) friend said that his organisation were wanting to upgrade from 8.1.5 to 8.1.7 (I did ask why they weren't going to 9i, but that's a different issue).

He was asking my opinion of the merits of this.

I vaguely remember 8.1.5 as being "a bit buggy", but I couldn't remember why. I have done a search, but couldn't find anything coherent.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
