Like many of the replys in this thread, it is all in what you are
comfortable with. In my case it is Red Hat 7.2. I put together several
articles on my website that detail installing Oracle8i and Oracle9i on Red
Hat 7.1 and 7.2:
From the topics menu, click:
"Oracle" -> "DBA Tips" -> "Tip #53" and "Tip #54"
