Run regedit, browse to \\HKLM\Software\Oracle and add in each HOMEn you want a new string value key SQLPATH and enter list of directories, separated by a ";". SQL*Plus will search in each directory for the script you want to run until it finds it.
This works for Oracle V7.x, V8.0, V8.1 and I guess for 9i too and on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP

| I have a book in front of me that tells me to right click on my
| computer and go to properties. Then click on the advanced tab.
|
| I dont have an advanced tab? The goal is to add a new Environment
| Variable.
|
| Does anyone know how to do this on NT 4.0?
