Hi Donna,

you can use a DETAIL datastore (if it is a master-detail table) or you can write a procedure and use a USER_DATASTORE.

Have a look at the documentation on
technet.oracle.com -> products -> oracle text -> 8.1.5/8.1.6 here are the basics about these datastores explained.
