would that be sqlnet v2.3.2.0.3 circa 1996 or was there anything more recent that you know of?

this one still irks me.
the trade rags had a half dozen articles of how an OS X client for
8.1.6 was written, and how an 8.1.7 client was to be released, but was
killed.
we'll probably have to wait for some sort of "tell all" book to be published to find out what happened there.
