So your total SGA is 1gig on a 2-gig box, right?

Assuming that you are not using MTS . . . .

Reserving 200m for the Solaris kernel, you have about 800 meg RAM for user PGA connections.

With a 10 meg sort_area_size, each PGA will be about 17meg each. Hence, you may see RAM paging as your connected user level approaches about 50 users. The exact values dependeds on many init.ora parms (hash_area_size), but this is a rough guess.
