Not *quite* true. I ran a course on OPS several years back, and one of my colleagues came down and ran some RAC training a few months back (I was on leave at the time) but that was before your time I think Howard (argh, that makes me feel old!) I did it several times on a needs basis from Consulting, for exactly the reasons you give below. On a number of occasions I ran courses for clients because Education didn't have a big enough requirement for those courses. After I left Education I continued to run the Replication training and a few other courses for the same reason. It's one way of getting around it.
