Downlaod SQL*XL and you will be able to fetch the data + column headers into Excel with no hassles at all.

SQL*XL is an addin for Excel that takes the pain out of dealing with databases. You can retrieve data straight into Excel by just entering the SQL. Other features include a bulk insert feature and bulk update feature where you can post changed Excel data back to the database.
