Try adding '.world' (without the quotes) to global_dbname
and service_name.

It's not my normal working area, so -
However, I believe that Howard wrote something like the above
(eeh, not the working area stuff :-))
in one of his posts (maybe not in this NG) in March ('It's a convoluted story')
