Hi all,

this week I'm going to test online-backup and recovery on our new Win 2000 Cluster Server - with Oracle 8.1.7.3 and RMAN/Omniback - what recover scenarios do you recommend -

i just thought about the following:

1.) restore data-tablespace
2.) restore controlfile
3.) restore archived logs (will be needed in almost all scenarios)
4.) point in time recovery
5.) recovery after loosing current (!) logfile

If you have any other ideas/tips etc. please post a follow up...

thanx in advance
