Seriously, though. You don't specify WHAT you want to use Oracle for.

I think the "perfect marriage" between OS and Oracle is Sun (Solaris), since that is Oracle's own preferred development platform. But there are usually constraints (budgetary, technical, knowledge, licensing, etc.) that will enter the equation. If all you have in-house are MCSE's, then you might not be well advised to purchase and install Sun/Oracle (then again, you might be better served by ridding yourself of the MCSE's and starting over again).
