8173 Drop User Cascade Hangs Oracle.

FYI : After patching an 8170 to 8173 reran catproc. This hung Oracle = CPU 100% load forever. killed instance with kill cmds

checked where hanging :

turned out to be DROP USER DBSNMP

Further testing showed that
dropping any user caused Oracle to hang.

Why ? lots of testing with SQL_TRACE & 10046 l12 did not produce any great answers.

Checked all init. ora fields and finally found it

AUDIT_TRAIL=DB . Once this was turned off DROP USER worked ok .

Did not seem that SYSTEM was full so seems to be a strange one (or alternatively I am missing something )
One would have thought that DROP USER should be an auditable (is that correct English ? ) DDL
