With good reason - 9.0.1.x is, IMHO, a public beta test. I have four ora-0600 tars open with Oracle right now and two of them have been assigned to development to patch. It's absolutely incredible the amount of bugs and issues with 9i. And just as I was starting to get complacent as I had not had to open a tar with Oracle for the 8.1.6 instance in four months.

I think there was a time when Oracle had a much stronger QA department, but maybe I was just a bit younger then :)
