Full production versions of Oracle9i Database Release 2 ARE available for download from OTN. I'm not aware of Oracle putting up a database Release Candidate (it's not a terminology Oracle uses for early releases of the database).

To the original poster - check that you don't have a winow open that is waiting for a repsonse somewhere, that is hidden behind a bigger window. Otherwise check the install log in the inventory directory (typically /Program File/Oracle). Received on Sat May 25 2002 - 16:54:09 CDT
