Tablespace growing at enormous rate

8.1.6.0.0 EE on Windows 2000



We get about 10 MB of data into out OLTP database per day,
and until now we didn't have any problems whatsoever with
this database.



However since Monday our USERS tablespace is growing at
an alarming rate - 1400 MB per day. The processes reading
and writing into the database are the same, the influx of data
is the same, so it must be something else. Any suggestions
for possible causes of this uncontrollable behaviour?
