Yes. I figugured that out. Download wil be effed and I wiill have to shell out $50 for CDs. That is a typical oracle trick. After jokes like this they'll be wondering why did IBM overtake them with RDBMS sales. They put out unusable download site and then give you subtle hints about the possibility of buying CDs. It very good for the bottom line. Someone probably needs the latest MiG model on the front lawn. I I've already tried 3 times today, without much luck. I could have better used my time. If they managed to piss me off lik this and I am using their software since versin 4 on a PC/XT (1988) and being a DBA since 5.1.22 on VAX/VMS (ior, odt, ORACLE$BI, sqlforms 2.0 and alike) imagine how would react somebody who is only considering oracle. If I ever get a choice of crosstraining for an IBM UDB DBA, I'll jump on it in no time at all. Received on Wed May 22 2002 - 16:12:45 CDT
