Hello,

When I try to delete an index or a specific table (both located in tablespace data0001), I receive the errors:

ora-00604 error in recursive bloc
ora-01578 block corrupt : file 1 block# 24790
ora-01110 file : c:\......\system01.dbf

The same error occurs when I try to get a list of stored procedures.

When I try to find out whats's going on block# 24790: select *
from dba_segments
where header_file = 1 and header_block > 22380 and header_block < 26004 order by header_block;

Sorry for the formatting...

The strange thing is that I have apparently no block assigned in 24790 !!!

Am I missing something?

Platform: Win2k
Oracle 8.1.7 EE

Thank you for your help,
