Name it back Daud.
I did this long ago. I trawled through the directories renaming all the references to the old name I could find, it seemed to work, but then I found I couldn't apply the next patch when it came along.  I had to do a complete re-install.
I now use only the first three numbers, eg: product/8.1.7 and product/9.0.1.
