Hi,

once again the
facts:

goals:
- I would like to install the server remotely using my w2k pc and some kind of X-configuration to connect to the SUN. - I would like to use Cygwin because it's free. - I want to do the setup with the least effort.

ways:
1. Install an X-Server _and_ X-client on my windowse (in my case Cygwin)
2. Install an X-Server according to Igor on the SUN 3. reset the DISPLAY variable for teh oracle account to point to my win-machine
4. hope that some screen appears ...
5. start installation ...

Wow! Any corrections / additional advices / agreements? I'll do the stuff during the weekend and will give feedback.

TIA Frank

P.S. have you installed the X-server software on your boxes ...? P.P.S.
Installing Domino:

1.) login via telnet or ssh
2.) cd to the appropriate path
3.) $/opt/lotus/bin/http httpsetup
4.) rest done using a browser
5.) drinking a beer
