Thanks to those who pointed out that the NEXT_EXTENT value obtained from the data dictionary already includes the PCTINCREASE calculations and reflects the size of the next extent that WILL be allocated.

As for pointing out the dangers in using a non-zero PCTINCREASE, yes, I'm well aware of those dangers and never use PCTINCREASE other than zero. However, some of us have to maintain databases designed and implemented by application software houses and they don't always follow the same rules!
