Installing 8.1.7 on Solaris Intel

Any Ideas?



I have setup the shared memory settings and unix accounts as per the solaris
sparc install guide from oracle. I then log on as the oracle user and run
the universal installer. All looks OK until the installer runs DBassist.
When tryning to initialise the database I get the error message "ORA-03114
Not Connected to Oracle" this is a clean install Oracle has never been run
before.
