Autonomous transactions are supported in 8i or later, 8.0.x do not have
support for them. What's the reason for backporting the application to
an unsupported database version (and even not the latest in 8.0 line - latest
was 8.0.6)? Can't your ct stay with 8i (8.1.7 is still supported)?
