Hi,
I've had this kind of problem under Linux. In my case it's because I
don't have proper characterset in NLS_LANG. I can't use
NLS_LANG=american_america.cl8mswin1251, because it's not supported by
Forms6i, or I don't have any fonts with this characterset.
I still don't know the exact reason for this.
Can you try changing your NLS_LANG to say
AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1
in the reports_server script, and try again.
be careful if you're updating your database in the report you can
corruput your data.
The other thing I can think of is installing fonts for your encoding. This might help, but I'm not sure if this is the problem.
Please post to the newsgroup your findings.
You can experiment with different NLS_LANG values and try a report
with
rwrun60m. If it doesn't start then the report server wont work either.
