Partitioning is delivered with Enterprise Edition, but it is licensed seperately at an extra cost. This is
from the Oracle 9i Database Product Family. A white paper on MetaLink. It was also a seperate cost
option on 8i. Oracle considers as support for VLDB's and Dataa Warehousing, hence the extra cost.
