Washington, D.C., area; employs "many" people with high-level security
clearances; and boasts executives with deep U.S. intelligence
community ties, said Steve Perkins, senior vice president of Oracle
Homeland Security Solutions. On Sept. 4 last year, Oracle went a
step further in cementing its relations with the federal government by
hiring retiring CIA Executive Director David Carey to head up its
Information Assurance Center in Reston, Virginia.
