Thanks for the reply. I'll check there. I'm not really a SUN person, or Oracle either, but due to the crazy politics at a customer, I've been given this to deal with.

Also, is there a formula for computing the value for SEMMNS that anyone knows of ? I read something on a SUN page that it should be value of SEMMNI x SEMMSL. Does this sound right. What happens if this value is too big or too small ?
