Editing the Control Files

Hi!
what can I do if:

• when I want to start my oracle server says: ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 1 - see DBWR trace file ORA-01110: data file 1:'D:\ORATEST\SYSTEM01.DBF'
• my problem is, that my *.DBF's are located in another directory.

but I cant edit my CTL-files, to tell this to the server... ...or can I?

and if, how?

please help...
