Hello,
I've been reading an old Oracle 7 book by Lynnwood Brown. He states that if a failure occurs during a direct-path load and the database is in noarchivelog mode, the db is then unrecoverable. Is that true? If it was true for 7, is it still true for 8 and 9? Simple yes or no answers will do but a more elaborate explanation is always welcome. Thank you for your help ahead of time,
