Migrate Oracle 7.3.2.1 from VMS to AIX

Hi,

It never rains but it pours. Does anyone have general experience or recommendations on the feasibility of moving a 200GB Oracle 7.3.2.1 database from a Compaq Alphaserver to an IBM AIX RS/6000. I have experience on both platforms as a system admin and have general Oracle experience.

I cannot backup any datafiles as they will be completely incompatible.

I could export/import static tables.

Some tables are > 2GB and have 1 insert/second so I feel exporting those will probably not work.

Perhaps I can use [SQL]+listener+[table primary key] to replicate the table across domains.
