I used to run into this one fairly frequently with Oracle 7.x there were several limits like, if your block size is 2k your max extents is 121. just like your max number of datafiles is 32. Without rebuilding database (not a good option) you can try exporting the table, dropping it and importing it it (not a bad idea anyway if you are running a pre 8i version and you have that many extents) If maintance window is real small try creating a temp table to house data, create a view to replace table until you can schedule a bigger window. I have had to do both and both work. -ERIC-
