Oracle 8.1.7 - Cannot create Database

Hello.

I've installed Oracle 8.1.7 EE on Debian GNU/Linux 3.0. During the installation or later with dbassist, i can't create a database.

This is what comes instead:

"ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel"

and

"ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE"

Any solution for this problem?

Please help.
