it's possible, at least on a single machine for testing purposes (see the metalink note 166830.1)
I recommend you also to read "9i RAC on Suse" thread at http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-oracle/2001-Sep/0084.html and Implementing Oracle9i RAC with Linux on IBM xseries server http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redpapers/pdfs/redp0410.pdf.
