MAX_DUMP_FILE_SIZE

Does this init parameter limit the size of each individual trace file in the dump destination, or does it limit the collective/aggregate size of all the trace files in the dump destination.

For example, MAX_DUMP_FILE_SIZE = 1000 with the block size set to 4k. Does that mean no one file can exceed 4000k or does it mean that all the files in the dump directory can't collectively exceed 4000k?

Thanks. Received on Wed Mar 13 2002 - 16:37:31 CST
