Hi,
where do these samples come from?

Looks like a 'sample-bug' to me. To find the statement that fails do following first in a seperate sqlplus session: alter system set events '905 trace name errorstack'; to turn it off use
alter system set events '905 trace name errorstack off';

this will produce a trace file in USER_DUMP_DEST on the database machine that contains the sql statement that raised the ORA-905. With the statement you can search the java source or class files to see where it comes from. Maybe you can patch it :- Or else you can ask Oracle support for an official patch.

Regards,
Andre van Winssen
