Hi there,

 In my last project, I used BMC patrol. The neat thing is you are able to see the alert etc., chart the usage of memory, cpu, space usage etc real time. Not bad for reporting purpose. If your site requires formal, nice reporting, it's not bad. Other than that, perl of tcl scripts work just fine.
