Damn, that suggestion really got my hopes up. Didn't work though. I'm guessing that the Oracle client is still running outside this. Here's the thing though. I wipe out the system. Install Win2k SP2 fresh. Install Oracle 7.3.4 16-bit client on the system. Works fine.  Install the 16-bit application and it's required client libraries and it works. Then I install a second 16-bit application and also Word 2000. No longer works at all. Could Word be overwriting something? If so, how do I get around it? Figured I could install the problem program at the end, however if there are dll's being overwritten, that usually is because they are newer, so the 16-bit program wouldn't overwrite them if installed last.
