Let me just laugh...
Question : what is the syntax for resetlogs? Answer: alter database open resetlogs
So when can you issue this statement?
Answer: after a startup mount
What do you need to do prior to a mount? Answer: close the database and dismount the instance, also known as shutdown.
So can you issue resetlogs on an open database. NO WAY, AND THAT IS GOOD Regards
