    I have something like this on my screen     

    ORA-19502: write error on file
    "/opt/oracle/oradata/lbs/DATA.dbf", blockno     32769 (blocksize=16384)
    ORA-27069: skgfdisp: attempt to do I/O beyond     the range of the file

    Additional information: 32769
    Additional information: 64
    Additional information: 32769
    

I dont have problem with large file. I can create file <2GB. System

    Redhat linux 7.1
    Kernel 2.4.17+trustees ACL
    Oracle 8.1.7     

    I dont know what to change on my system to create 8.5 GB tablespace
