9 asi post-install problems ?

Hi, Guys

I'm a software developer for a small firm, and I had a quick question. I've noticed after installing Oracle AS 9i Enterprise on Windows 2000 Workstation. I receive a unable to locate a tnslistner, I have checked the tnslisnter.ora and sqlnet.ora files and have edited them to use the following <HOSTNAME, TNSNAMES > Keep in mind the resolution for hostname is being handled by DNS or centralized authentication system.

And its workgroup is development ?

I do have experience working with Oracle 8i Enterprise, in return I never ran into this problem before?

Any advice would be great !!
