Done, with no particular difficulty. However, you're a bit short on
details. Are you using 8.1.6 and above? 8.1.5 wouldn't even work that
reliably on W2K. Also... you're not encountering the known bug with Pentium
4's are you?
I suppose the issue is: did the installation go smoothly, and what does the alert log say when you try and start the Instance (and how are you doing that, by the way) and fail?
