Howard is right. I posted a message earlier dismissing the myth of ocopy but apparently nobody paid attention. Look at Message 9 at http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&th=2241d752dcab13a6&rnum=1

My test was done on WindowsNT4, Service Pack 6. Oracle 8.1.7.0. I assume DOS copy is the same as drag and drop copy in Windows Explorer.
