After some further investigation I have got the following errors on a CREATE DATABASE command:
ORA-01501: CREATE DATABASE failed
ORA-19502: write error on file "d:\ORANT\oradata\tbsp\control01.ctl", blockno 1 (blocksize=8192)

ORA-27072: skgfdisp: I/O error
OSD-04008: WriteFile() failure, unable to write to file
O/S-Error: (OS 1450) Insufficient system resources exist to complete
the requested service.

I think this confirms by suspicion that the disk encrption is messing up the file IO... Received on Mon Feb 18 2002 - 08:36:13 CST
