Bugger me if I wasn't! (oh telepathic one!)

I had a Windows 2000 network running perfectly.... then I fell for the early-adopters nonsense of Win XP.... trouble 't mill ever since. I now have a stable environment. Sort of... I only have three messages appear in the event log every time I reboot, instead of 26.

Incidentally, and just to keep newbies happy, Oracle hasn't missed (or skipped) a beat. Just stupid things like web pages not appearing, spontaneous reboots when the wind direction changes, and stuff like that.

If I could wean myself off the interface, I'd revert to W2K in a flash... but I'm a sucker for rolling hills, bright blue and GUI glitter (though my feeble memory suggests he was done in court recently!)

Be good,
