Oracle 9i on AIX is only 64 bit. Gotta have a 64 bit processor to run it. We are running RAC, 9i, AIX V4.3.3 ML 9 on Winterhawk II's currently. We are not using GPFS, we are using VSDs. You actually don't need the HACMP software layers, just the ssp layers.
