BDE? Do you mean Borland Database Engine? If so then you must provide the version you have. The one which comes with v5 of Borland Development Languages had some troubles with Oracle newer than 8.1.5 But the one which comes with the newer v6 version maybe goes better. I can't say I change to some Oracle oriented BDE replacements some years ago (DOA, ODAC, etc).
