Easy: create the view in ANOTHER schema. There is no impact whastoever on the vendor's schema.

And they cannot argue (if the database is ORACLE they most certainly can NOT!) that having a view in another schema affects their schema in any way, shape or format.

If they chose to make a "case", then that's absolute bull and should be challenged. About time vendors stopped using these ludicrous and technically unsustainable clauses to mask the inefficient use of resources by their software!
