Problem on Linux RedHat 7.1

    Hello     

    I have Linux RedHat 7.1 with Oracle 8.1.7. After complite instalation I have problem during database startup.

SVRMGR> startup
ORACLE instance started.

Total System Global Area                        387809440 bytes
Fixed Size                                          73888 bytes
Variable Size                                   103747584 bytes
Database Buffers                                283910144 bytes
Redo Buffers                                        77824 bytes

ORA-00205: error in identifying controlfile, check alert log for more info
SVRMGR> and something like this in error log

ORA-00204: error in reading (block 1, # blocks 1) of controlfile
ORA-00202: controlfile: '/opt/oracle/oradata/lbs/control01.ctl'
ORA-27091: skgfqio: unable to queue I/O

ORA-205 signalled during: alter database mount... RECO started with pid=7

there is no control file and I can not connect to database. Why Oracle cant creat control file.
