Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> TNSNAMES - Listener problem
Am using Oracle 9i(Enterprise) on WIN2K at home, in a non-networked
environment. It seems that with increasing frequency, I'm getting this error
message, particularly when I attempt to logon from the console, eg. ORA -
12541 - TNS: no listener. I then have to leave the Console and start the
listener service manually. I know that the listener has been started before
I access the Console, because I've checked it. Seems that this error only
happens when I'm in the Console. Other than that, the DB works great. Any
ideas???
