Hello,
i tried to install oracle9i on Debian linux, kernal 2.4.13.
When I start the runInstaller-Skript I get a segmentation violation. I tried different Java-Virtual Machines (1.1.8, 1.3.1, The newest machine from IBM), but I allways get the same Result.
The Installer dumps the following lines:
Initializing Java Virtual Machine from /tmp/OraInstall/jre/bin/jre.
Please wait...
SIGSEGV 11* segmentation violation
