DBA trying to learn java please advise

Hi All



I'm an experienced Oracle DBA/developer whose time has come to learn java.
I've just installed Oracle9 including java on W2K, and written a couple of
hello world type programs and messed about with sqlj javac and loadjava etc.



Currently I find the Oracle java manuals overwhelming and can't make head or
tail of it.


I need a good java for Oracle book with examples to get me going can anyone
recommend such a book.
